The long streets of San Francisco

It was a beautiful sunny and peaceful Saturday and I wanted to go to the ocean. Took my sneakers, camera, sunglasses and left home at 11 am. Passed through Haightstreet where all the hippies and second hand shops are, through Golden Gate Park, passing the Japanese garden there with its beautiful teahouse and .. this sight is what hit me.

The streets of San Francisco are so never, ever ending. so incredible long! Far, far ahead there, you can see the ocean, but it took me another 2 hours to get there. But it was indeed worth it. Eat sweet oranges in the sun and watched the waves. Then it was time to walk back home, going north along the coast. Another beautiful, but very long way to walk.....
